Synergy wins two awards at the Mercuriades 2020
The winners of the Mercuriades 2020 Awards were presented on September 28, and we are very pleased to announce that Synergy has won two Mercure awards: Training and workforce development and Exceptional woman.
Hosted by France Beaudoin and Boucar Diouf, the 40th edition of the Mercuriades had to reinvent itself by presenting a virtual gala. But as pointed out by Charles Milliard, President and CEO of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec, this is not the first time that they’ve had to adapt to economic reality as well as the natural evolution of business. We would like to congratulate the organizers for this successful event despite the unusual circumstances.
Mercure Formation et développement de la main-d’œuvre – Grande entreprise
It was Olivier Quenneville, Senior Director, Public Affairs, CN who presented the award, emphasizing that increasing productivity is one of Quebec’s greatest challenges. And improving this productivity depends particularly on training and developing the workforce. This is exactly what we have accomplished with The Synergy Institute by developing our new Synergy app and many training programs. Investing in our human resources will always be a priority.
Le prix Relève, Femme d’exception – Grande entreprise
It was Louis-Philippe Gariepy, Senior Director of Public and Government Affairs, Valero who presented the Mercure to our CEO Isabelle Côté. She won the award which recognizes a businesswoman whose leadership has enabled her to deliver exceptional results. A young entrepreneur who has mobilized her team, influenced her community and carried out promising projects for her company and her sector of activity.
We are very happy to have received both awards and would like to thank once again the entire team that revolves around Synergy and who contributes to our success, namely our employees, our partners and our customers.
